Leave a Legacy - Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning

Thanks for visiting the estate planning section of our website! It is our hope and prayer that this will be a tangible ministry in your life.

We are told that a staggering 60% of Americans do not have a will and 70% of those that do have a will do not have a current will. Wow! The ramifications of this on children, surviving spouses, on taxes and other estate administration expenses is immeasurable. There are many reasons for his---fear of dying, procrastination, confusion about the estate planning process, the cost of creating a will…….and more.

We, at the Kentucky Baptist Foundation, want to provide some “layperson friendly” estate planning information that can enable you to protect your family and be a wise steward of the financial resources with which God has entrusted you.

So, grab a cup of coffee or tea, kick off your shoes and browse around. If you just want to get down to business, you can click on the Estate Plan Organizer (EPO) on any page and walk yourself through an estate planning tutorial/data gathering process. At the end, you can print the EPO to take to your estate planning attorney or you can send it to us for review and consultation.

All of the information you enter on the EPO is confidential. The EPO does not ask for social security numbers or bank account numbers. No one will see your entries unless you submit at the end and ask for help. In that case, Kentucky Baptist Foundation Trust Counsel, Laurie Valentine, or our partners at PhilanthroCorp (a Christ-centered estate planning firm) will be in touch to serve you in any way they can.

So, be blessed and make yourself at home!
